Dr. Sopheap Ly is a specialist in Internal Medicine based in Southern California with more than 23 years of experience and an unwavering passion for patient care. Originally from Cambodia, she moved to the United States at 16, driven by a strong commitment to her education. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from California State University, Fullerton, and her Medical Doctorate degree from Howard University, College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. in 2001. She then went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, the largest county hospital in the nation with around 900 beds.
 

Dr. Ly is highly trained in caring for patients with complex medical conditions, and she embraces her responsibilities to deliver healthcare with joy, peace, and great satisfaction. Throughout her nearly two decades of marriage to a dentist, Dr. Ly provided countless consultations for various dental practitioners and oral surgeons. This gave her extensive insight into dentistry and the complications that can arise without proper patient screenings and assessments. Now, her mission is to share her knowledge and services with dentists and other oral care providers, streamlining preoperative evaluations to avoid risks caused by hypertension, diabetes, serious illnesses, or other preexisting conditions.

Her goal is to help dentists feel an increased sense of confidence and enjoyment in their work. With Dr. Ly as their ally, her clients can feel reassured knowing they are taking all avenues possible to prioritize patient care and protect their practices from liability.
